Imbolc at Ardantane

The public is invited join us to celebration of Imbolg on Friday, January 31. We will gather at the Dome on campus about 6:30 pm, and the ceremony begins at 7:00. Participants are invited to bring any favorite tools to consecrate for your projects, garden tools, pens, a laptop, knitting needles, etc. If your tools are bulky or numerous, you can bring a photo.

Ardantane Ostara Celebration

Bunnies and decorated eggs have symbols of the season for more than two thousand years. The rabbis stand for fertility and are also associated with moon goddesses in ancient legends from Britain to China. The eggs are signs of new life, and in some ancient myths the universe emerged from a Cosmic Egg. Participants are invited to arrive at the Ardantane dome at 6:00 pm or so, and the ritual will begin at 6:30. Wear warm and colorful clothing—whatever feels festive—and bring a dish or beverage to share at the potluck feast afterward.

Ardantane Beltane Celebration

Beltane, or “Bel’s Fire,” is an ancient Celtic festival to honor the returning sun, life, and love. The Ardantane event may include singing , creating “May Gads” (flower bedecked wands), light dancing, and certainly a feast after the celebration. Participants are invited to wear colorful clothing and bring a potluck dish or beverage to share. We will gather beginning about 6:00 pm, and start the program at 6:30. There is no fee for the event, although donations are always welcome. Call Amber at 505-469-7777 if you have questions or need directions.
